Bidra med feedbackBP is my port in a storm. Irregardless of the city or province I visit there are certain givens. 1) Icy 20oz pints of Molson Canadian. 2) Acres of big screen televisions. If a game features a ball, a stick or a puck someone's gonna wanna watch it! 3) Pizza duh!! BP gets a lot of flack for having mediocre pizza. Maybe, but it is consistent, the 10 individual size is a decent value and a satisfying meal for one and the spicy pirogi is outstanding! 4) Pasta Tuesday. Mix and match noodles and sauce at a great price. This franchise has a few additional perks. The lounge has four tables for singles and doubles as well as bar seating. Even when the bar is hopping on Friday evenings I've always found a seat. Not so at other franchise restaurants. You know who you are. There are also promotional tee shirt/ jersey giveaways during playoffs. Crowds can get a little loud and rowdy and there is a lot of anti Canuck sentiment. Which I've never quite understood, but I usually have a great time. It can be a bit pricey though, especially if I'm treating my kids but I get to cash in those gift cards I keep getting for Xmas.
I was pleasantly surprised pretty good pizza which seemed healthier than average (multigrain crust, vegetables, and shrimp, with a serving size that was not excessive), with cheerful, attentive service. Also I love apple crisp, and they even had this on the dessert menu!
Called for takeout from a hotel. Order taker VERY sweet helpful. I tried to use the Boston Pizza app, but it told me that the restaurant closed t 9:00pm on a Wednesday)? Didn't believe it so I called ordered a custom pizza without a menu. The gal was very patient. Pizza arrived in less than the 45 minutes quoted! Pizza was great! Caesar salad had crisp romaine but so much dressing that we couldn't eat it. 1/2 the dressing would have STILL been too much. Chocolate dessert was way to sweet. My daughter I, who adore chocolate could not finish one piece. I haven't been to a Boston Pizza for many years but had hoped for a more at very least a consistent average edible meal. I will not be returning any time soon.
I came here on a Tuesday. They had all deluxe pastas on sale for $10.99 (regular price ranged between $12 $18). I ordered the seafood fettucini. The portions were huge and it came with garlic bread. It was pretty much what I expected good but not great. I'd probably order something else next time.
Honestly, I wasn't in the mood for Boston Pizza but nothing else was open. I ordered the Oven Chicken Wings and a Santa Fe Salad, good combination of meat and green stuff. My take out order was ready just as they promised in 20min...nice. The one thing you can count on with Boston Pizza is the consistency of your meal.
