Pelican Rapids Inn - Fort Smith

A few days here. The Ac unit was stuffed with dust, it looks like it had never been cleaned. The carpets are all stained and old. The breakfast room was rarely always clean, but that could not be cleaned by other guests. Pretty outdated rooms, but it is expected for a distant location. The kitchen was barely cleaned and it was pretty fast dirty. I would rather have stayed in the wood Buffalo Inn, and highly recommended that hotel as I only heard good things.

Couldn't be asked for better hospitality. Dana and her hotel staff were very friendly and super accommodating. I know where I will stay at any time in Fort Smith Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5.

Terrible, terrible experience.... I had reservation for a kitchenette room. On arrival they decided to give me a room in a small building outside and away from the main building which looked unsafe. After insisting I will not go there they found a room in main building to accomodate me, promising to move me to a kitchenette in 2 days. I accepted same. At 8AM I was awaken by sounds of large equipment banging and drilling with no prior notice of construction. I just accepted it. On day 2...same 8AM noise but this time the construction workers were attempting to remove my bedroom window. I being undress wrapped myself in sheets walked to window spoke to man he confirmed ' yes we are taking out wimdow ! I called office no answer. I got dressed went to office no manager, girl said they did not tell you? I asked her.. did you tell me? Now what hospitality is this happening in this hotel? Does the guest deserve to go through all this? I believe people need to understand the meaning of SERVICE . This is so very unsettling.

I have been living in the hotel for 2 months, now the service is extremely amazing. Clean rooms, bathroom, beds etc. The owners Rob and Dana have a great personal touch with customers that is important.

Nice hotel for the location. King sized bed, very comfortable, and the room came with microwave, mini fridge (with freezer), ample supply of shampoo, conditioner, coffee maker and hot water kettle, along with sewing kit, shoe shine cloth, razor toothbrush/paste... A lot of things you would expect to see in an upper scale hotel. They even have a nice little gift shop in the lobby
