Airedale Diner - Fort Smith

We went last night....Friday for prime rib and a salad. The prime rib was cold as well as the fries....the breaded chicken on the salad was also cold....the lettuce was so old....I couldn't eat it. They brought the prime rib back to the table well done after microwaving it. I was offended at the food put in front of us. We waited way too long for it. I don't know what happened. We won't try again. This was the 3rd strike there. Folks came and left and we were still waiting...even for a dinner salad....that finally came with the wrong dressing. This was the first time I had been in there since the renovations and name change. The two waitresses were hustling and two other girls I couldn’t figure out what they were on the payroll for and they seemed like their minds were still at home sitting around ‍. The food was well-prepared and they were generous with the bacon. I appreciate that. The renovations were an improvement. It looks like the buffet is gone. It felt clean, smelled nice and was well-lit. The air conditioner definitely blows plenty cold. I do recommend it for breakfast at least. I haven’t had any other meals there yet.
