Bidra med feedbackAmazing food with local twists, ingredients are always fresh! A great array of drinks where you can find your favorites along with their take on classic drinks, try the Pele's kiss. It's delicious and obviously Instagram worthy! Great vibe, super clean and staff is really nice. Good place to unwind after work or party with friends.
Covid safe as there is no one there. However, service was extremely disappointing considering no one was there. Wait staff did not pay attention to guest and was occupied with their friends at the bar and by the time Drinks were received, the ice sat in the shaker too long and the drink was watery. The lack of attention and urgency to service was disappointing as there was not one thank you for leaving a tip out of kindness, as It is important to support local business. Pass up if you like costumer service.
The truth is I love this place. The bartenders are extremely good at their craft and friendly. Strong drinks. But they're often CLOSED on key nights (like Saturday nights!! for private parties. It's too bad because, now I don't even bother trying to see if it's open and just try to find somewhere else more reliable.
Tonight was interesting. The food is ok, not great, edible but not really seasoned. At the end of the night the bartender came over and asked if we wanted to buy her a shot. We agreed and said, Ok, but can we close out? . She then gave us a bill for her shot and one for her friend. I am not sure what is going on in this business but be careful here. They also keep the lights on at night saying they don 't trust the customers. We 're local and go to a lot of local bars. This place is different and was much better when it was the Mixx.
I know this phrase has been coined by Olive Garden, but when you 're here, you 're family should be owned by Remixx. My husband and I strolled in here one evening to watch the Lakers game and they graciously changed the channel for us tourists. We started off with some drinks and food and as the evening progressed, we realized that we didn 't even watch the game because we were having so much fun with the patrons and the staff. This bar is unassuming and located right across the street from Nijiya market by the Ala Moana mall. It 's definitely a local bar, I didn 't see a lot of tourists besides us and it seemed like it was filled with regulars who knew everyone who was working, but we were still treated as though we were regulars. Aside from the service, the drinks are great. Can 't complain about a cocktail that tastes good and will give me a good buzz. The food is AWESOME. They get their bread from a local bakery and it was the fluffiest bread I 've ever had, it was almost like eating cotton candy but with more chew (I swear it 's a positive thing). I got the corned beef fried rice with a sunny side up egg *chefs kiss*. I don 't even know what my husband ordered because he ate it all so quick haha. I wish I had pictures, but I guess I ate the food before I remembered to! I will definitely be coming here every time I come to Hawaii and telling everyone else about it too.
