The food is amazing, local and fresh. They serve just the right sized portions with so many options of sides. All of the flavors complement each other perfectly. I highly recommend going here for fresh, healthy food with many vegetarian options.Parking: Parking on the side street, mauka side just past the shave ice.

Love the food. Vegan friendly. Unique variety of sides. Fresh made. This visit we were there around lunchtime. Staff is great, but only bar seating for our party, and hadn't been cleaned since the previous people, had to wait 45 minutes for our food, and they were out of several menu items. Luckily we weren't in a hurry and the food was worth the wait.

Delicious food and awesome chef. He comes out often to speak to the guests. Everything is freshly made and definitely feels farm-to-table, so if you’re looking for a fast food, this isn’t it. The power bentos are huge with 5 side choices. Try the pork kakuni!

Really fresh quality food, traditional Japanese. Lots of good pickled options and vegetable dishes. And the man/family who owns it is super kind, definitely a place to support!
