Fontana's - Fort Payne

I can say with certainty that this restaurant is the best eating establishment in ft. Payne, the owner is a phenomenal chef with major food skills and also a very polite and respectful person in general, you will definitely enjoy the super southern hospitality mixed with the incredible experience of getting to experience authentic Italian items. I highly recommend you stop by and get a taste of what they have to offer, you will definitely not be disappointed and even the janitor ART is also a great guy, even with his terrets syndrome he has such a great attitude. 5 STAR'S ALL THE WAY

More of a home cooking type restaurant veses Italian restaurant. Special of the day was country fried steak dinner, the entire meal was awesome!!

What a great little find!!! My hubby and I were visiting Fort Payne and looking for a local place to eat. I had the pecan crusted salmon with green beans and a slice of their house toasted bread. My hubby had the grilled chicken Alfredo with toasted bread. My salmon was crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful. Salmon is often dry, if not cooked correctly, and this was far from it. The garlicky green beans were delicious as well. The hubby’s meal was generously covered in Alfredo with lots of grilled chicken. If we visit Fort Payne again, we will definitely return to Fontana’s.

So good!!! The meals are always delicious and unique with a great selection of options. The service is top notch. Every time I visit the area, dinner here feels like home.
