Fowler Street Grill - Fort Myers

I used to enjoy coming to this restaurant for breakfast, but there have been some recent changes. There was a new waitress who seemed overwhelmed, and the other staff members did not offer to help her, even though there was food waiting in the warmer. I also noticed that takeout orders seemed to be given priority over dine-in customers. When my food finally arrived, there was a mistake with the order, causing further delays. The person at the next table received their meal and was almost finished eating by the time my food was brought out. I ended up leaving without eating breakfast. Thankfully, I had only ordered a water, or I would have had to wait even longer to pay. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant. Another major issue I noticed was that the waitress was handling surfaces without washing or cleaning her hands. The table I sat at was dirty, and when I stood up, the waitress asked me why, showing a lack of care for cleanliness or customer service. It seems that management needs to address these issues.

I have been enjoying the delicious food at this restaurant for 39 years. If you are traveling, I highly recommend getting off the freeway and taking some time to relax here. It feels like visiting family and I always enjoy my meals here.

This hidden gem of a restaurant is fantastic! The server was prompt in bringing our food to the table, providing top-notch service, and even gave us coffee to go as we left. Highly recommend for their exceptional service, generous portions, and delicious food. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely return soon!

This high volume diner delivers well on traditional fare and extraordinary value. The coffee was served hot and fast. The eggs were perfect. I even got a personal meet with the kitchen manager master chef Chris who checked on me personally. What a greatencounter. Be sure to join the VIP list and get daily specials updated by owner Dan he's the best. Love this place!
