Bidra med feedbackWanted to try this little gem for a while and finally made the trek from North Fort Myers. A warm welcome was received entering into a long space with a central kitchen and booths along the left wall. Art and pictures from Greek islands adorned the walls giving a sense of the origins of the cuisine. We ordered the grilled octopus which was on par with the quality from Athens or Mykonos. We had the moussaka and the sampler platter which were excellent as well with a wonderful bechamel topping. A sublime side vegetables of string beans, tomato, onion, garlic and dill was deliciously crafted. A small Greek salad came with each entree as well. Take some home so you have room for the superb baklava which is large enough to share. As we were concluding our wonderful meal the chef came out of the kitchen a berated a table behind us, which by the tone we assumed was children with you don 't want to eat my food? Get out! Then a salad plate smashed on the floor. Next a very old couple waddled past our table replying to the chef we 're going to write a review! The chef chided them with I don 't need reviews, I serve good food! get out and don 't come back! . The couple ordered two appetizers and the were served a the same time, not separately. They made a fuss over the fried squid and wanted it returned to the kitchen and remade until they finished splitting their Greek salad....anyone knows fried foods are to be eaten when served. They browbeat the wonderful waitress into taking the dish back to the busy kitchen, which was the ignition for the floor show. To see this much fire and pride (well deserved on both counts) from a chef of an establishment of 32 years speaks volumes of the love that is crafted into his food...you can taste it! I wish they had nightly dinner specials to showcase that fire. We will return again. Thank you for feeding us.
Haven’t been to one of our all-time favorite spots Nomika’s in quite a while. Went for early dinner, late, lunch, yesterday and found it to be the same wonderful Greek food we have consistently gotten there. I got my usual chicken souvlaki platter with green beans instead of rice and my husband got his gyro with fries. Great service, wonderful food… lovely meal.
The restaurant is located within a shopping center There is a sufficient amount of interior seating The interior decor is tasteful The server was friendly, the service time was reasonable The food was very good The value was in line with my expectations Overall a very good experience
I got a gyro it was basic.Fries was a little oily I am on the fence about this place. Not terrible not excellent just basic.
First time to dine for lunch. Small Greek Salad and Gyro sandwich shared with the wife. Both were excellent! Salad was cold, crisp ,fresh with a very tasty house made dressing and a sizable portion for two. Gyro sandwich was perfect. Ample portion of gyro meat with fresh onions, tomatoes and very tasty Tzatziki sauce and warmed pita. This is by far the best Greek I have had in Fort Myers and competitive with any in Chicago! I’ll be back.
