Bimini Bait Shack - Fort Myers

I am handicapped and the elevator is out of order and there was nothing on the website or the door of the elevator. I pressed the button and continued to wait and then realized it didn’t work. There are over 20 steps to get up and in. There was a very limited menu and the there were no fried items and truthfully, we went for the fried onion rings on a paper towel holder for our appetizer. It was a Saturday night and there were very few people there. I had two of their large frozen drinks which weren’t tasty or fun, no garnish, no taste. I would have been better off with slushies from 7-11. Service was fine, view was fine, music was great but I just sense that this restaurant is trying to stay open and is having a tough time. Looked like it needed a good scrubbing and some snappy leadership.

So very disappointing- music was good Crab was in dish with oily butter, so slippery couldn’t hold onto it. Shrimp was way too overcooked . No seasoning on anything at all. Extra charges for sides and extra butter and server didn’t disclose that until we got the very high bill. Server didn’t come and check to see how food was . Would highly advise NOT to go here.

Always a fun place to go. Live music, Frank Thomson was playing when we went there. He is an amazing singer and guitarist. Food great, service great.Food: 5/5

This place has great food and a great atmosphere! It’s a very large tiki restaurant with open space to view ocean. They have live music often or daily! They have many frozen drinks to choose from, they have swings at the bar. Lots of fun! Long as you don’t get the cocky kid at the bar who seems to pay more attention to his phone on the counter then the people sitting at the counter.Go at sunset! You won’t be disappointed!

Loved the atmosphere here! The whole place is open to the causeway and ocean. The service was good despite being pretty busy. I got nachos, which we were very good, but got a bit soggy so they weren't as enjoyable as I would've liked.Food: 4/5
