A&W - Fort McMurray

It’s is good court eating so I could never give a 5 star. Girl was friendly at the counter. Was starting to get busy. But as I sit here eating my Mozza Burger and fries with root beer. I decided to write this review. Not the best location but fills the hunger gap.

Staff was friendly as usual. Teen burger and onion rings were cooked and served just right. Root beer was served in the usual frosty mug. A tasty meal that hit the spot

Upon arriving I wanted food so headed to A&W. I parked and came inside to see the entire main dining area blocked off for cleaning as well as both washrooms. After being on the road for 5 hours I had to use the washroom but couldn't as they were both closed to be cleaned at the same time by one person who took a very long time. When I went to use the washroom finally, I entered the ladies room only to be hit with a huge wave of heat. It felt like a sauna in there,I have never rushed out of a washroom so fast. If I wanted to sit and eat I was out of luck as all the remaining tables were taken. Staff was semi friendly but service was slow.

We love the burgers and fries and their onion rings and of course their root beer drink and I love their milkshakes ...

This one is a really good A W, root beer is not watered down like it is at some places and the burgers are cooked but not greasy.
