Hickory Sticks Bbq - Fort Lauderdale

In Advance...Sorry Hickory Sticks.. I often go here (4-6 per month). That said, based on Friday night dinner, YES only 4 days ago would have rated 4-5 STARS, but Tonight, Baked beans were not cooked, beans still hard. Onion rings did not shake or pulled apart in frit, all together and mush. New people here, not the same guys I always see, Cook was also manager, but quite new and very nice. Same cook/manager from Friday night and is an ingenious meat carabin, he cuts my bride perfectly. But, please know the truth, the FOOD is not consistent, must be consistent, especially like the baked beans. Green beans and Mac n cheese always good, but cooked to order. New young man on register and packing, wants to recharge me $2-$3 for a piece of bread. I ask for every time I come in as my family and I prefer the toast to the maize cake. I think it should be an option, but today the new one wants to recharge me. Cook/Manager nominated an approval. I will visit Hickory Sticks again and I hope it will come back up to 5 STARS.

Went in about 830pm and ordered her version of a Cuban sandwich to go. The meat was garbage. The meat was dry and strict as it was left out for 5 hours. I understand that BBQ was the limited durability, but if you are open until night, you need to make new meat during the day. It's bad because I heard good things about this place.

Barbeque is difficult to evaluate and check, each has its own preferences and favorite styles. There are also regional differences to consider. Hickory sticks will not disappoint, we found their Pulled Pork Sandwich to be good. Not excellent, but good. Many work and love went to Hickory Sticks, they deserve a visit so that you can see for yourself. Very friendly.

Turkey sandwich pretty good with spicy Carlsalaw. Love the Carolina sauce. Always order to go, but place looks pretty clean

I had my daughters 1st birthday event and Hickory Sticks catered for us. I must say they did an amazing job. Not only was the food spectacular, the staff was amazing. I didn?t have to worry about anything when it came to the food. Everyone in my party loved the food, especially the brisket. Thank you Hickory Sticks for a well job done.
