While the food we ordered was good, it was overshadowed by the uncomfortable absence of air conditioning and the lack of care by the management as to the issue. Things happen, ACs break down, but customers should have been told about it before being seated and been given the choice not to stay. At the least, a text should have gone out to those of us with reservations giving a heads up. This dinner was for our anniversary and the hot temperature and lackluster service was a tremendous let down.
Our reservation was at 8. We didn't even got our bread till after 9. I have always loved del frisco but will probably never go back
George was a fabulous waiter. He was very friendly and provided impeccable service. The food was top quality, prepared exactly how we ordered: filet minon and truffle Mac and cheese. Even the lettuce wedge as an appetizer had flavour and was plentiful for 2 to share. I love this place and often go on off hours and days when there are fewer people. This way we are guaranteed great service (i.e. can be slower on a Friday or Saturday night or holidays, so I would advise to avoid those times). Relaxing atmosphere and beautifully decorated. One of the best choices in the Las olas scene area.
Came here on our last day of our getaway. We ordered the Caesar salad and steak egg rolls to start. For our main we ordered the NY strip with the mushrooms and Mac and cheese as the side. I prefer my steaks medium rare, the first one they brought out was more like medium well. I didn?t want to waste food but the server insisted on bringing another steak which was kind of here. The manager came over and made some conversation and gave us fresh sides. I appreciated the gesture but while sitting I heard at least 2 other tables mention something about their steaks. I also really hope that they find a way to repurpose the food that?s sent back.
