Comedor Chapin - Fort Lauderdale

Sad to say this will be my last time here. I used to come here once a week. Recently they got new servers and since the experience has been down hill for me. Today the server brought no chips and beans which they usually bring right away. No water, ordered a hot drink and didn't get it until after the appetizer came out, and I had to remind her. Once it did it had no taste.. and was weirdly thick (not traditional). The tortillas were cold. I ordered water because I wasn't going to drink that atole. She gave me room temperature water which tasted disgusting. Service is super slow and I'm the only one here. Last time I came it was the same thing, poor service. The ambience isn't that great but I used to come for the nostalgic Guatemalan food. I'll definitely be looking got a new place this one sucks now.

Very disappointed, use to be good, with happy hour drinks, but the staff said they don't have any more even tho they advertised it. The food was ok but not any better than any other Italian good Italian restaurant at a lot less cost. VERY LOUD. Service was ok not great, maybe understaffed.

Just had a great dinner at Anthony’s Runway Super Club. The renovations were beautiful, low lighting, chandeliers, velvet banquets, everything you’d expect if Sinatra designed it!! Music was old school from the 50’s 60’s. Ask for Christian he was the best waiter! Menu did not disappoint. Very large portions so order carefully. Leave the gun take the cannoli’s was the best dessert!

What a fabulous evening we had tonight here. This Super Club is 5 star in every way! The decor is elegant and beautiful, yet warm and friendly. The food and service were both outstanding. Our server Christopher was kind, helpful, friendly and efficient. Nick, one of the managers was so gracious and helpful to our party. The friendliness of the staff began with the polite Valet. Nicest guy ever to work as a valet in my lifetime! The bar server was welcoming and friendly, too. We were early, so we had a drink while waiting for our table. It was ready on the minute of our reservation. Nice hostess came and seated us. Our dinner was delicious from our Ceasar salad to the Ice Cream Sundae for dessert with 10 topping! My Yellow Tail Snapper was excellent. Double baked potato for my side choice was delicious also. The best part of the evening was the live music. A great band and singer, who sang Frank Sinatra's songs made this a fun night. A young singer joined him at the end song, singing MY WAY, to close the music out and he brought the house down with applause! This is a must place to eat! Elegance with a friendly staff that make you want to return again and again. My son has been here three times in two months and told me to come for a special night out of fine dining, music and great service. He was so right! It was spectacular, fun and special, We felt like we had been on vacation!

My table of 9 was seated at a table for 5. we had to eat with our elbows in our stomach. we also brought decorations that I wanted to be set up before I arrived to the table and none of it was there. A table of 10 was seated next to us and and a much bigger table and all their decorations all nice and set up.
