If you are looking for authentic South cuisine to calm your soul, Williams Restaurant is the place in Forrest City. I entered what appeared in the middle of the '50s, '60s typical southern café. The decor is inconceivable and unpretentious, but if you came for good food, you will not be disappointed. The catfish fillets were baked with cornmeal and cooked for perfection; well done, not too sharp, but juicy. You know, this is catfish and not some cheap imported Talapia dressed as catfish. The sides contain creamy cola (delicious) and brown beans. The beans had the right amount of onion and ham for this delicious southern taste. And, no frozen Hushpuppies here, I was served delicious homemade pan roasted corn bread; yumm If you are in the mood for food you want to come back, visit Williams'. Don't let the first impression stand, wait for the excellent service and food.

This is 1 of the 2 best soul food restaurants here in the city. If you like or love good South Sea soul food, this is the place for you. You have to try!!!!
