Rio Lerma - Forney

We?ve been a customer of Rio Lerma for quite some time we live in Forney but we prefer to go to the Terrell location. Our server Sandra did an outstanding job I was craving enchiladas Verdes with sour cream and cheese which was not on the menu but she madeit happen. Thank you for the great experience we?ll definitely be back.

For us, this is the best Mexican place in Forney! They have Margarita nights if you?re into that, they say the drinks are very good. We go there for the food and have never been disappointed. The Service is alway good. The Shrimp cocktail is one of myfavorites but We have probably tried most everything on the menu and have always been pleased.

This restaurant quickly became my family’s favorite spot after the first visit. We ordered combo fajitas almost every time we came simply because they have the absolute BEST steak money can buy at a Mexican restaurant. After ordering the combo fajitas many times, we decided to start trying other menu items such as sour cream enchiladas, and shrimp quesadillas. Those quickly became my new fav entrees also ? Food always comes out fast and not to mention the margs are actually strong. Two of them and you are goooood trust me. I honestly don’t know how this place is not packed 24/7.

After we were given chips and salsa, We Waited over 15 minutes and no one took our drink order or even acknowledged that we were waiting to order. The table behind us came in after us, got their drinks and ordered their food, and still no one came to our booth. We let the hostess know that we received NO service, and her response was Sorry and made no attempt to rectify the issue. We did not stay and will not be spending our money there. Very poor service.

Good food. Chips were stale but that’s my only complaint.
