Always a great place to stop in for lunch or dinner. Can't go wrong. Don't forget to stop at the bakery on the way out and get some dessert. Staff is always friendly. Order from the kiosk if you are getting a sandwich. If you are ordering something hot, just walk up to the counter and someone will help you.

I've been to the German Butcher twice since I moved down here. I was to their previous location (D.A. Barsch) in Toms River years ago. My favorite style of hot dog is the German style pork/beef or pork/beef/veal mix. Especially if it's made at a butcher/pork store. Excellent service with a smile, and everything is top quality. They make these Rueben croquets that are ridiculously delicious. My wife just came home with some stuffed peppers which I am not a huge fan of, and they were surprisingly good. We had them with a homemade summer salad with veggies from my garden and it was the best! I am very picky and critical of the food I eat and I can 't think of a single negative thing to say. I 'd give 'em six stars if I could.

Love this place! I?ve ordered lunch here, I?ve ordered an entire Thanksgiving meal for my family. No difference in quality, flavor or portions. Everything here is DELICIOUS and fresh. The staff is amazing. For such a busy place, they are never too busy to answer questions or direct you to where you need to go. The ordering process is quick organized. Good value for your money. One of my favorite places for cold cuts, meats, salads, or just a sandwich.

Best Reuben sandwich I have ever had!! Bread is light, sauerkraut is tangy and the meat is thinly sliced and just perfection. The chicken pot pie crust is buttery and flaky and the filling is full of big chunks of chicken and loads of veggies. You can taste the celery which I love. This place is just a mouth watering experience overall. So many choices your head will spin. There is something for everyone and it is super clean. Nice neighborhood gem ????
