Pit Zone Bbq - Forest Park

The place was clean and the people are very friendly! I got half the ribs and half the chicken with the cabbage, they were made of scratched green: maize bread and Mac and cheese. I have to say the chicken was AMAZING! I thought the ribs would shine, but the chicken was delicious. The ribs were really good and the sauce had a proper bite. I only have the 4 stars because the Mac and cheese sauce broke and was ok, but and corn m bread was ok. But again this place is for meat and the meat seemed so bravo! I'll be back.... they also have BBQ Nachos that I have to try.

Wonderful atmosphere and food is great! You rent event room for parties, baby showers, etc. Friendly staff! That was a move to NY Party!

Visited here for some training tips. While I waited, the family that owns Pit Zone met and they are wonderful. Please eat here, it's a small family business with really good food! I am picky about tips, I place on them, and I will definitely be back for them! They make their own sauce of scratches, the tips were more meat than cartilage, and no bone. Some places, there are many bones on their tips, not here! And the restaurant itself is a really cool room. Protect this family business, they're worth it!

Very family oriented atmosphere, cozy and comfortable restaurant. My family and I ordered the Super combo with ribs, fried chicken, links and fries!!OMG!! Delicious, flavorful and yummy. Meat was tender and juicy. Seasoned well! The staff was upbeat and friendly and the chef stands behind his work Overall, the 4 star rating was because my mouth was looking forward to the peach cobbler, which they didn't have this time. No doubt, we will be back with more family/friends Pit Zone BBQ...be ready!!!
