Pasticceria Amore - Forest Hills

I had coffee and pastries this morning. Was thankful able to sit down and enjoy the treats in this Covid world. The place was clean and gr8 location. The coffee was good, but the pastry was stone and cold. I asked the server if he was fresh and she said yes- that was little disappointing.

How perfect this cake was for my daughter's birthday. She lost her mind when she saw him. Delicious as it was beautiful.

Well if you want delicious pastry you came to the right place to grab something and go this is what this place is it's not a sit down pastry shop although you can grab a box of miniature pastries or sliced cheesecake yummy yummy you can imagine the rest parking is a little tough better if you go with somebody so they can sit in the car and you can run in and run right out

Coffee so good, it’s surprise me, because in Forest Hills good coffee is problem fine

I'm really surprised but the number of bad reviews here. I came last week and had the Oreo cake and kinda flipped out. It was that good. Super flavorful but not really heavy. While it tasted of Oreos, it had a lighter feel to it. The icing wasn't thick and sweet and coiling like the middle of an Oreo, which is amazing, but if you would eat a ton, it would be way too much. This cake has a great balance. My friend got a few rainbow cookies to take home and we had a nibble on the way to the subway. They were very good. Overall, a great spot.
