Bidra med feedbackIncredible cheeseburger, very generous and absolutely delicious. we also had the meat and cheese plate, which was beautifully presented and very tasty. Seriously good eating, definitiw above-average pub duve!
Good pub, quieter than expected. Sunday roasts are very good with large portions meat, but only a few carrots and a bowl veg between 3. that seems a little mean to £18-£20 per meal.
We visited today at an incentive of the moment, they were the only local we could find who served lunch. we had no expectations and a friend had told us that eating was not too scratching. how wrong they were. the pub is beautifully located with a charming and extremely well maintained garden. the interieur was modern, but immaculately decorated. it's the cleanest pub I've ever visited. the employees were young, polite and professional, without being annoying. eating was openly excellent with generous portion sizes. we had duck (boiled to perfection) and the best stroganoff we ever tasted. this is 100% worth a visit. well done!
Very clean and fresh. Quite welcoming. Although menu listed a price of £16.95 for the steak, but was on the final bill at £29.95, which was a bit of a nasty surprise. The beer was kept very well and very enjoyable.
Now what a place. Set and built in the 17th century with a thatched roof. Out door sitting and inside with a late medieval vibe to it. Prices are good and food is lovely. Would highly reccomend.
