Green Light - FONTE DO MATO

Had a delicious meal of the cook and server were amazing. the food was fresh, warm and plentiful! the dessert shakes and crepe were also amazing. recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is off the beaten path, and you may not come across it in the course of your day. But if you make it your destination, you'll be glad you did! It's in a home-like environment, with a kitchen that's likely just like the...one you grew up with in your home. The food that comes out of that kitchen is excellent! Very flavorful and plentiful. The owner is on hand, greeting everyone enthusiastically, then running back in to the kitchen to cook. I especially enjoyed the sopa funcho. Green Light was recommended by Graciosa local George Alfonso. I pass along that recommendation to you!

What a great restaurant! It's a family owned restaurant and the lady that runs and cooks is a fantastic chef. I've eaten there 3 times and every time it was a great home-cooked meal. Although she doesn't speak English, she will try her best to...accomodate and serve fantastic meal. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Graciosa!
