Bidra med feedbackIf they want a sports bar atmosphere in which youngs scream loudly during a game up to the point where they can't hear at the other end of the bar, then they go to the dining room where the sounds come. this is the place for them. the steaks 40) are great, rubber bears could be more andouille, crab cake 15 for one). for the prizes we hoped for a more entertaining atmosphere where we could enjoy our business and relax at the weekend. Maybe in the week it would be better?
We were looking for a nice place to eat on Friday night. we drove from milwaukee to wautoma. we decided to try Theo’s based on TripAdvisor reviews. it is only 4 miles east of hwy 41, at the hwy 23 exit. on Friday at 1915 we could get a table almost immediately. the restaurant and the lounge were busy, but the personal did it well. what a nice dinner we had. dredging was our waiter. he was very knowledgeable and good in his craftsmanship. we started with a maryland crab cake. very meaty and loaded with lumps of crumb meat. my wife had a crispy, fresh house salad and I tried the gumbo. both were excellent. we followed both with the 8oz filet, horseradish mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. the steaks were made perfect and super delicate. dredging suggested a nice cabernet to pair with the steaks. excellent choice. the menu was varied. for those seeking a Friday fish fry, this. plus sandwiches. next visit we will try the salmon and the ahi tuna. the main entrance is located on a busy road. many free parking spaces on the property at the back of the restaurant, next to the rear entrance. I wish we had found theo years ago. we're coming back.
Not big in indoor eating during this Covid situation now that the summer is gone, but theo’s is one of the few places we have for dinner from venture. Mostly the bar is well spaced and the personal wears all masks. the esstic are very well spaced, further than necessary. these are the things we are looking for and appreciate. about eating as good as ever. it wouldn't be the same if I didn't get her soup. it is on the spicy side and oh so delicious! it's hard not to order steak when we come here, but we had the seafood and especially the salmon, all right. dredging is an extraordinary waiter, always knowledgeable and friendly. if they are not comfortable to eat, he offers them what we did a few times. eating seems to be good to travel, but we are just about 10 minutes away. each time they were very remarkable.
Eating here is phenomenal. the best appetizers I've ever had! tuna steaks, crabcakes, scallops. I can't wait to go back.
Great service from very attentive staff. Good menu choices and plenty of variety. Sadly, like all other restaurant kitchens in Fond du Lac, all the food is over-salted and smothered in garlic. I guess it’s the town preference.
