Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I were craving dosa found this on google so stopped by. Few pros and cons of my visit. Pro- the food was good tasty. Cons- they were only doing “take out” but you can eat on any open table. The restaurant was full plenty of staff walking around. But the experience of this method was not good. You have to get your own water from self serve area, you have to clean the table yourself as they were dirty. A lot of plastic goes to waste as they package everything up in takeout manner even if you’re eating onsite. Also the dosa all comes unprepared. All stuffings etc are packaged separately so you’re basically assembling your own dosa which I wasn’t fond of as everything is prepackaged not “fresh/warm”. I will definitely come back in future to give it another shot and hope to be able to give them a 5 star. This visit was probably a 3.5 but I have a 4 as the food was good.
Mylapore is a vegetarian restaurant serving South Indian cuisine in Folsom. They offer a wide variety of breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner options. We tried the uttapam, kothu paratha, and pongal and were pleasantly surprised by how amazing the flavors were. The chutneys and sambar served on the side were delicious and everything tasted fresh and hygienic. They also have a selection of beverages like chai, coffee, lassi, and rose milk. The restaurant currently offers dine-in service with to-go boxes and disposable utensils. The seating area is clean and well-maintained, as are the washrooms. They also sell frozen curries and sweets, like gajar halwa, which we tried and loved. If you enjoy South Indian cuisine, don't miss out on this place. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes. Thank you for providing such a fantastic dining experience. Keep up the great work!
This restaurant serves the best Indian food I've ever had. I had a great experience with this cuisine and now I know where I'll be dining whenever I come to Folsom. I wish there was a restaurant like this closer to my city. I highly recommend visiting this place if you enjoy Indian food, you won't be disappointed.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and I must say, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, professional, courteous, and respectful. The food was delicious and you could really taste the freshness. It was truly authentic cuisine. I have no complaints and will definitely be coming back with my family to eat here again. I ordered the mini tiffin, which included a small portion of everything and I highly recommend it if you want to try a variety of dishes. My family ordered the dry fruit dosa, which was also good. The masala chai and coffee were southern specialties that you must try. The overall experience, from the staff to the food, was great. Keep up the excellent service and thank you for a wonderful experience.
Discovered this on a trip from bay area to Tahoe and the food was so good that we made it a point to pick up again on our way back. This restaurant is legit south Indian food. Literally every item is a bite of happiness. Try anything, you WILL only be more happy.
