Bidra med feedbackWe have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant in our area for awhile, and we were hoping this would be it. But sadly, we ended up being very disappointed.
If you are not in Folsom to watch the Intercollegiate Rowing Championships, make a detour to dine at La Calle. The Mexican food here is superb. The margaritas are large and smooth and come in numerous flavors. The pork carnitas would satisfy the guests at a state dinner in Mexico City. Shrimp tacos and those filled with Mahi-Mahi received raves from those among the twelve rowing parents who selected them. Our waitress was amiable, helpful, amusing and kind. The outdoor dining area is charming. Too bad we live 3,000 miles away. La Calle is a find.
