Burritos El Potosino - Folsom

I would not recommend ordering the chicken at this restaurant. It is shredded, soaked in water, and always ends up soggy. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was sitting in a pool of liquid, making it bland and unappetizing. When I showed the register guy the soggy tortilla, he looked at me as if I were crazy. After three failed attempts at giving this place a chance, I will not be returning.

I absolutely adore this place! My husband and I visit multiple times a week and never get tired of it. I always order the carne asada fries, which are the best in town. The fries are thick cut and delicious, topped with tender steak, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and hot sauce. My husband usually goes for the California burrito, but we've also tried the tacos, enchiladas, and quesadillas which are all fantastic. The red hot sauce is spicy but packed with flavor, a little goes a long way. I highly recommend the food and service here to anyone who will listen. We were drawn here because we were craving San Diego style Mexican food, and this place definitely delivers. While it's not exactly the same, it's close enough and the staff is incredibly friendly. The portions are generous and always tasty. We will keep coming back here at least once a week. They already know our voices and orders, we can't get enough!

The service at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was also delicious. I ordered the taco salad with ground beef and enjoyed some fresh pico de gallo from the salsa bar. The lettuce was crisp and clean, and the guacamole was flavorful and authentic. It was one of the best taco salads I've ever had, and I've had quite a few. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the restaurant was empty, but I'm not sure if that's a valid reason to deduct a star, to be honest. Overall, I highly recommend eating here. It's a great dining experience.

I grabbed a quick lunch here as I saw good reviews. I have ordered a borito which was very large. The chips with dips are free once you order. The chips are ok but the dips were disappointing as they were quite blend. The borito was nothing special aswell. The service was good and there is planty of parking outside. I am not sure I will return.

Lupita had the best hospitable friend I had in a long time and the cook is the best! he made everything like home! I'll come back.
