Blu Restaurant Bar - Folly Beach

Food was okay. Blu had high reviews on Yelp, but I didn't feel it was deserved. Ordered Bang-bang shrimp and 5 shrimp on the plate and was just okay. I had a half-lb of very large steamed shrimp the night before, so...not such a great value for mediocre food.

Really enjoyed the food. Service was friendly and good. Nice view of the beach and outdoor area but was too chilly to sit outside.

You cannot beat the view. Good spot for a cocktail. Food is average.

In town on business for 2 nights and stayed at The Tides Hotel. The restaurant is located in the Tides and was very convenient for a business-related dinner with 2 other associates. The menu offered a good variety, our choice of fish was good for all. Server was knowledgeable, available, and prompt. It was a nice evening for all.

We had a wonderful lunch, inside with window. The food was FABULOUS! Calamari with sauce was superb, watermelon salad terrific and lobster rolls were great. Would definitely return for dinner. Service with a smile.
