Bidra med feedbackI was pretty excited to try out Ikinari Steak after seeing videos about it on YouTube! The restaurant has a very casual and homey vibe which was nice and unexpected but I loved the Christmas music they played since we were there during the holidays. We got the holiday special with wagyu steak cubes, salad, and paid extra for the garlic stone rice which made it worth it for me. The wagyu steak cubes were okay but a pretty small portion for my boyfriend and I to share. Some pieces were also really chewy so if I come again, I'd probably opt for another cut of meat. The garlic stone rice though OH MY GOODNESS. It's so good! It's super flavorful and I love how it stayed so hot on the stone plate. I'd definitely come back just for the garlic stone rice! It also had bits of corn and meat in it which were yummy! We also got pistachio and Thai tea mochi as our dessert which was average. On a weird note, the bathroom was nice too! They had mouthwash and toothpicks available in the bathroom and it was a Japanese toilet which was heated!
I love coming here for a quick lunch or dinner. My friends from out of town love the idea of a quick, affordable steak. They charge by the ounce and the steak is cut and prepared in minutes! I usually can get in and out within 45 minutes! Try their fried rice, which they only serve during dinner!
I love this concept! It 's a casual, steak restaurant without any frills or having to dress up for a meal. You order drinks and appetizers through your server, bring your number up and choose your meat cut (including how many ounces you 'd like). You also have the option of adding garnishes such as fried garlic, onions, green beans, and corn on top your steak. There are several tables with chairs now (it used to be a standing only restaurant for an in and out type of dining experience). We also ordered the garlic fried rice and sake with our meal. I ordered the ribeye and my husband ordered the filet mignon. My steak was deliciously prepared and the price was great (about $2.50/oz for the ribeye). The garlic fried rice paired well with the steak and was crispy! Unfortunately, we had ordered additional sides that were forgotten (but we weren 't charged for them so it 's all good). When you 're done with your meal, you go up to the counter to pay. I 'd definitely come back again the next time I 'm in the city!
Came here on a Friday night with some friends. It gets packed so I would recommend getting reservations if you do decide to dine here. We all ordered the holiday special which came out to $30 before tax and around $40 after. I got the 10 oz ribeye which comes with 3 sides (the sides are pretty small. Ex: a few slices of onions). Then you can get a salad with a side of rice, mashed potatoes or soup. Finally it comes with dessert which gives you 2 mocha ice cream pieces. The steak itself was nothing amazing but at least it wasn't chewy or tough. Most of my friends had to put multiple condiments on there to give it more flavor. Needed more salt and pepper in my opinion. Sides were nothing special. I did like the mochi ice cream though. Overall for $40 you could probably get yourself a nicer meal.
Small mother pops wein and likör with super reasonable soju prices. 1 bottle is $5 vs the $10 in my next liqueur. they have different brands here (soonhari, chum churum, good day and chamisul) along with a good selection of aromen. I didn't have enough time to expand their wine selection, but I'll come back for soju!
