A Taste Of Shanghai - FLUSHING

Left a bad impression from the first second I stepped in here. The tables were clean but the waiter was extremely rude from the moment we stepped in here. They did not answer my question when I asked how many seats were upstairs and just kept telling us that someone reserved it when we just wanted to know about the place. Then he seemed unwilling to serve us and put the menu on our table down with such arrogance and left. We sat down for about 20 seconds when we felt our appetites disappear and we left afterwards because we did not want to dine here. It gave me and my family such an unwelcoming feeling. Wanted to try out this place because I saw a good review of it and people were saying the food was good, but we did not want to be further disrespected. There are many other better options that treat you with respect as a customer. We went to Cheli after and the service was really great.

Awful service, very mean and pushy. I was going to order for my friends and I but they were so awful I just wanted to leave. Ordered pan fried dumplings for $8 something, I thought you can’t go wrong with pork dumplings. I was wrong. I’ve eaten and even made them so the fact that these are the worst I’ve ever eaten is sad. Be nicer, especially if your food is going to taste so bad.

On a random stroll looking for food I found this place. I ordered the egg fried rice dish, I didnt see other types of friend rice on the menu. The amount of rice I received was worth about 5$, I paid 11$ for it. The rice was good though. So ill settle at 3 stars here. Make the plates bigger its a better deal. Glad the menus were in English as well.

I only bought soup dumplings. To me and my husband, It’s pretty bad. The skin is way too thick, and the meat don’t taste as good as what we usually eat at other restaurants. The meat has sweet taste to it. Anyway, this would be my first and last time eating at this place.

11 20 to 11 23 2022 This is the best Chinese food I've ever had or one of the 3 Chinese restaurants in my life I could eat in every day.
