El Chico - Flower Mound

If I could give El Chico flower mound 10 stars, I would. We were seated immediately. Our server arrived in 2 minutes, took our order, and our food arrived in about 10 minutes, hot and extremely delicious!!! Our waiter Emilio was amazing, so courteous and efficient. Never have I had such a positive dining out experience. Go there for great food !!!

I usually order the same thing at Tex-Mex restaurants, tortilla soup and brisket taco. I have to say the soup and taco I had at El Chico were the best I've had. The soup is heartier and richer than most places serve and the taco tasted lighter and less greasy than others. I liked the sauce and toppings that were on the taco. Our server was attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Consistent good food. We just moved out of the area, but when we lived here it was our favorite regular restaurant. One of our sons still lives here so we eat at El Chico’s when we visit. The chips and salsa is good. I always ordered the beef fajitas. My wife tries different things on the menu and is always happy with her meal. We always ask for Felipe as our servers. We are not the only ones so he gets busy, but he is like a friend to us and his service is great.

This is our go to 'Mexican food sit down spot '. Seems like any day but Friday has been best for us lately, unfortunately that is the night with live music as of late. Food is is consistent and taste great which is what is most important to us of course. Simple things like recognizing we are there and getting initial drinks, refills of chips, salsa and drinks seems to be a challenge some nights.
