I had often passed this restaurant on the way to a nearby popular bakery. my man and I visited last Saturday at 19 o'clock. fortunately, the largest part of the dining room was empty. we ordered half the leaves of the garlic that was absolutely delicious. I loved it as it was pre-licensed and only kitschig enough. then we ordered a neapel pizza with sausage and basilikum. I love how this restaurant grows its own basilikum! great wine and beer list. would definitely return for the delicious wood fired pizza!
Red Oven is a small pizza place in a nice part of North County. We went there last night and had a great time! We started with the garlic bread, which was really good. It was half a loaf of bread covered in cheese (full loaf also available). The pizza was good too. It was only 12 inches, but along with the bread, just enough for the two of us. We got a Neapolitan pizza and added sausage to it. This also has fresh basil on it. We noticed later that they grow their own basil on site, which was cool. The pizza was good and you can tell it was cooked in a special oven. I do wish it had more toppings on it, but I liked it as is. The restaurant is pretty nice and new. Overall I would go here again.
Outstanding pizza, helpful friendly staff and a wonderful job on the inside with the decor, of this neat historic building in Old Town. Can 't wait to go back again. We had a build your own pepperoni pizza and a margherita pizza with black olives. Done perfectly !
This restaurant has great food and a great story. Pizza that tastes like we are in Italy, scrumptious salads, and delightful staff. This would become our hang out destination if we lived in the St. Louis area.
Amazing food and Amazing service!! Ordered 2 orders of garlic bread and 4 pizza's for wife and 5 kids and myself and every one was full with leftovers for tomorrow
