Town Hall - Florence

We went there to celebrate our anniversary. The food, as expected, was great! We had been there before and knew it would be. However, the service was outstanding! They called to confirm our reservation and found out that it was our anniversary. They had a card signed by all the staff, a great little candle as a gift (the 16th anniversary is the wax anniversary), and chilled flutes of champagne waiting on us. The attention given over the evening was just right- not overbearing, but not unavailable. We 'll be back for a regular special dates just because they treated us so well.

It is expensive, but it was definitely one of the best dining experiences I've had in Florence. Food was great and server was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Wow! My wife and I passing through on trip from Fla to NJ. Went here for what we hoped would be a good dinner. We have many years around the sun and travel extensively and dine out regularly. I had what I think is the BEST NY Strip I've ever had. My wife's filet was also excellent (just very mildly undercooked for her . The presentation, sides served, and taste--so many flavors all exploding. And grilled over a wood fire! Our server (Anna? was sweet as can be. Pleasant, attentive but not over bearing. We shared the lemon chiffon in Finnish blueberry soup for dessert. Another home-run! We'll be back on our migrations back and forth. I highly recommend Town Hall,

We came in here after a long day on the road and we're not disappointed. Our server Desmond explained the specials of the day and talked each of them up. I had been eyeballing the beef short rib on the menu and it was one of the specials, so I chose it. My wife and I believe it might be the best short ribs we've ever tasted. It was served on a bed of VERY tasty mashed potatoes and carrots. I scraped my plate clean. My wife loved her wedge salad, but honestly, I think she regretted not getting the short rib. We also had the corn bread, which was also amazing. Highly recommend! It's too bad we're only here for one night and live in Europe, so it will be difficult to come back anytime soon... But if anyone else is wondering, it's definitely worth a visit.

Desmond was our waiter, and he was amazing. We started off with 3 different appetizers, the deviled eggs, New Orleans Shrimp, and wings. Our entrees were the Pork Chops w/whipped potatoes and brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
