Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a wide variety of sushi options. In addition to sushi, they also offer sashimi, soba, udon, Japanese salads, and miso soup. The hot dishes include tempura vegetables and prawn, pork belly, teriyaki beef, katsu chicken, mixed vegetables, chicken wings, and deep-fried finger foods. Desserts and fruits are available to finish your meal. On weekends, the price per person goes up slightly to include free soju, but I recommend going during the week if you're not a fan of soju. The staff is friendly and will explain the dining experience to newcomers.
First impressions speak volumes. On arrival, I was asked to pay for my meal. This is understandable if the restaurant was fully booked and walk outs were an issue. However, upon our arrival the restaurant was very quiet. After paying my rich $38 for my dinner, we were seated. Before I even get to the buffet, there's a sign that reads: please don't overfill your plate or leave food as you will be charged extra. Please reuse your plates and cutlery and you have a maximum of two hours to eat! After going to the buffet and feeling overly anxious just in case I break a rule, I sit in my seat only to read another sign. Soft drink is included in the price however you may only have two drinks and you cannot drink your friend's beer if they choose not to have their one free bottle! The food: well after digesting all the rules, there wasn't much space left for tasting. As I mentioned, I was too overwhelmed with selecting the wrong food to actually try a huge selection. Whilst some foods were tasty, it was not enough to attract my custom in the near future.
We had the buffet. Hot food was excellent and there was a good range of sushi and plenty of options. This place is not for the connoissour of Japanese food as it is all rather westernised but that suited us and we found it thoroughly enjoyable. Best for a group or large family. No atmosphere for couples. Pleasant staff. We will be back.
A friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet the food was great and there was a variety of not only Japanese like katus chicken, teriyaki chicken and beef, there was a selection of deep fried foods and rice, miso soup, sushi etc. Dessert was some fresh fruit, jelly, icecream and coconut sago which is not much variety but still a nice treat after dinner. The staff where very attentive always right there if you needed and the chefs where always checking to see what needed to be restocked. We went around 6:30 on a Thursday night, you can stay for 2 hours. the all you can drink beer and soft drink is slightly limited as they are from the fridge in glass bottles. I would definitely recommend the buffet !
Went here for the Buffet on a weeknight. Not too busy and food was always re-stocked. Nice selection of Sushi as well as hot food. Even some Chinese food. Food is well presented and tasty. Buffet price included beer and soft drinks so definitely worth a visit :
