Bill's Creole And Steak Depot - Flora

After we said we would try Bill's for a while, we finally have. I'm thrilled too. We went in, and these sweet ladies behind the bar greeted us, asked how many and pointed us to a table. I felt right at home. Our waitress was right over to get our drinks order and looked after us very well all night. She even corrected the guy who pulled out my boy's elastic. She said, "No, this is for my baby." I loved it. There is a playroom with corn hole, ping pong and other things. Our children loved that. The atmosphere is loud, funny and welcoming. The best part... the steak! Oh, my! I cooked the fillet medium. It was melt divine in your mouth. My husband has the redfish. It was also excellent. The salads were in chilled bowls and very good. The ranch and comeback dressings were as good as it gets. The rubberbo was different, with a really rich dark rox, but we liked it very much. The children got chicken bites and catfish, both with fries. They ripped it up. Everything was great! We liked the whole restaurant. We even sung with a gentleman for our birthday. Bill’s is the kind of place where you can eat as well as experience, from the red and white tables and the plastic logo cups to the steaks where you can see outside. We loved it and can't wait to go back. These steaks! They're calling me!

The food was wonderful. The best steak I've ever had. The service was not very good. They were not packed, but we seemed to be at the invisible table. No one has waited for us or even recognized our presence until after about 10 minutes of seat and then another server had to get our person for us. Then our server forgot to bring our drinks out and we had to ask another server to get them. And finally we sat there waiting for our check for at least 15 minutes while our server waited for the tables around us, but never a single eye contact with us. Finally, we asked the Hostess if she would get our server so we could get our check. If the food had been average, we would never go back, but it was great, so we will give them another try. We're just gonna ask if we're sitting in another area.

Not much to see inside or outside. Absolutely fantastic menu. Great service. However, the food was some of the best we have experienced in every place. I had the seafood lasagna. It was great. My wife had the steak tips. I had a bite, and I never had meat. Definitely return and recommend my friends.

Definitely from the beaten path, but worth a trip. The cancer rolls were great! And the rib is big enough to share with someone. Compliments to the Grillmeister! Absolutely amazing! I don't know what's in the marinade, but the steak was perfect. People were friendly and service was also good. Can't beat the service and good food. Very expensive too.

Awesome food atmosphere! My family loved it and can’t wait to return. The steak was one of the best we’ve ever had!
