We recently dined at a charming restaurant with our group. The place was clean and welcoming, and the owner greeted us warmly. The tea and coffee were delicious, and the food was good. In addition to the food, they also sell handbags, key rings, and other items. The restaurant has a nice sized parking lot, making it convenient to visit. We highly recommend checking it out.
I must say, this restaurant is quite unique. It reminded me of places I have stumbled upon in the United States! There were indoor water features and many inspirational quotes scattered around the walls. The coffee was decent, although it was made with granules, but I wasn't expecting anything different. The service was friendly, but the place had a slightly musty scent. Overall, I think this restaurant may cater to a specific taste.
The Amber Coffee House is I presume what was previously known as the Ivy Emporium. We came across this establishment while driving on the A548 en route from Blackpool to Caernarfon to ride the Swiss train on the Snowdon mountain Railway. It has a huge car park, but the exterior does not do it justice. I enjoyed pancakes with bacon and maple syrup (a meal I had not had outside or North America previously! while my wife enjoyed a croque monsieur panini. It was so good we stopped off again on the way back.
This small restaurant is a wonderful example of an old pub being repurposed well. There is a wide variety of offerings here, from a photography studio to a café and gift shop. The gift shop sells a range of collectibles and homemade items that would complement any home. The welcome is very warm and the atmosphere is relaxing. Definitely worth a visit.
