If I could give a 10 star review I would. Came for a Monday night meal and it was Amazing. The service was excellent, all staff were quick and reliable and we felt extremely safe with the covid restrictions in place. The food was absolutely delicious. 100% reccomend and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a brilliant evening.

Having previously enjoyed Sunday lunches here we thought we would respond to their invitation to take advantage of the eat out to help scheme which would have been an opportunity to check out their mid week menu. We assumed that the venue would wish to impress so that they could attract new business in these difficult times. What a mistake. The service was abysmal. Having ordered from the restricted menu some 10 minutes later we were informed that the steak on the menu was not available. It took another 15 minutes before the revised order was taken. Despite the fact we had ordered garlic bread as starter it was over one hour and a half before it arrived. A promise was made that our main meal would follow in 5 minutes. However it only arrived after over 2 hours since our arrival. Some customers simply walked out which to our regret is what we should have done. We of course ordered extra drinks which we had to pay for. Despite asking to see the person in charge this was not achieved and no suitable apology or explanation offered. We were also concerned that whilst certain Covid precautions were in operation staff were not complying with social distancing. Lastly a bit strange that not given written or itemised bill.

Called in on the off chance for a last minute tea. Was quiet so was able to get in. I had steak which was cooked perfectly! The homemade chips are to die for!! Friendly service, reasonable prices! Would highly recommend
