Kritz - Flensburg

Located in the middle of a nice, little square, in the middle of the historic part of the city, next to the central market, this place attracts all kinds of people, of all ages. Not at all expensive, offers coffe, desserts and food at logical prices. It has big windows and you can relax looking at the passers by. The toilets,though, are horrible.

Nice place, on a square, so you can follow the towns life. They have an ok brunch and friendly staff. Have visited the café a couple of times now, and would like to try some of their more "serious" food too.

The Resturant sits in an attractive square near to the 'Historischer Haven area.Our meal was to be pretty basic Burgers and fries, and one pasta dish. they had ran out of burgers except for veggie type.. This in itself was ok, but the bun was hard as concrete, returned.. An the second was identically hard. One other meal was Tagatelli spaghetti, extremely salty. Service was good, waitresses friendly but food quality needs attention!! Very Disappointing!!!

We enjoyed a nice brunch on the sunny terrace. They have a wide variety of brunch dishes for a reasonable price. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. The only problem was the waiting time, we had to wait more than 45 minutes for the food.

While other cafes in Flensborg open and close cafe Kritz has been here for ever. The brunch menu has everything from " the hangover " a headache tablet is included to the "Harley " which has chewing gum included !! I can recommend the " joghurt " with berries or the pancakes both home made ! Lunch is also really good with a daily special at a fair price. In the summer there are twice as many tables outside as inside and you can enjoy a cold beer or coffee while people watching . The staff are busy but always friendly.
