Ruby Tuesday - Fleming Island

Although it's close to where I live, I haven't eaten there for over 4 years and went with the family for dinner today. We received amazing service from the time we went until we left. The food was hot and tastes great! The menus and prices were better than Chili's. We sat at a table in the bar. Our server, which was also the bar alert, has often checked how everything was and when we needed something else. We haven't waited long for our food. We'll go back there soon.

Came for lunch with my aunt today. I tried the crispy chicken mac-n-cheese. The food was great! I might have something to say who closed last night and didn't look under the salad bar, and what about this salt shaker? Did the stars have to take off?

NiniThePatriot I decided to check out Ruby Tuesday for a change. Haven?t been for quite a while, not sure why. Sure glad we stopped. Great menu selections the salad bar is as grand as it always was. Even had fresh watermelon ?. We decided to order the special Tacodilla (I think that?s right) I?m visual so I was instantly sucked in by the advertisement on the menu. I let NiniThePatriot do the reading. We ordered both the chicken and the steak. Came with the dish of black bean rice salsa (what I call it, sorry the special menu isn?t available online). Anyway, it was all delicious. We both preferred the beef over chicken, but for no particular reason other than our mood at the time. The rice dish was great flavor with a surprise. Since I didn?t read the menu, I didn?t know it was served COLD ?. It was a great surprise. Our attendant was wonderful. She read us straight away, knew we weren?t needy so she didn?t have to hover, and she was sure to give us a quick check-in every so often. Great experience all around and we have to do better about remembering RT is so close to The Lakehouse! @PopopThePatriot

The service was slow. It took about 15 minutes to sit when tables were available. They were short on servers. A child was said to go forward and sit us; but he only looked at this person as if it were insignificant. He turned around his heels and walked around like we didn't hear the comment and didn't matter. Our server has done a decent job, although the environment seemed stressful and tidy for the employees present. The food was very good.

Meeting with friends, two had birthdays. Food was good, but I like my food hot or warm. Soup cool, not warm enough. Potatoes cold. Our server did a good job and was pleasant and attentive to drink refills.
