Silver Pine Restaurant And Bar

I requested a sample of two red wines on the menu. When the waiter brought the wine samples, I noticed a brownish residue in one of the glasses. I told the waiter that wine was old and it shouldn't be served. I did take a taste, and it was very acidic. As much as Silver Pine charges for food and wine, old wine should not be offered or served. Thank goodness we ordered a whole bottle. There was no telling how old the other wines were on the shelf. The old wines should be given to the cooks to use in the kitchen.

We have eaten at Silver Pine about 5 times. The experience can be uneven. We have been served stale chocolate cake, chewy and tough fish , cold sandwiches that were supposed to be warm. The staff can be concerned or not concerned . Breakfast is their best meal.

Anissa was a fantastic server! Food was delicious (breakfast). Coffee tasted fresh ground, oj tasted fresh squeezed. Manager was very friendly and gave me a refund because I was given a menu with old prices which she didn't have to do. Highly recommend! 5 stars.

Food was pretty bland and overpriced for the lack of flavor. They also seated everyone right next to each other at tables when it wasn't busy and they could have spread us out a little more for privacy. Overall felt like the price of a high end resteraunte without the quality to go with that price.
