Pizza was excellent as I expected it to be, but unfortunately the service wasn’t. Shortly after opening on a gorgeous, celebratory anniversary weekend, my wife, dog and I saw a flood of people sitting on the patio. We made the incorrect assumption that it was open seating based on everyone in front of us not speaking to anyone. Upon sitting down the hostess met us with an attitude and snarky tone about how “normally people come see me first before just sitting down.” We of course apologized and tried to not let her bad day ruin our meal. But she was still clearly annoyed by us as evidenced by her huffing and puffing when sitting our plates and water glasses down on the table. “Someone will be right with you.” She said with a huff. We then spent the next 30 mins listening to her carry the same attitude into other conversations when people were asking for basic things like sides of honey, etc. “We don’t do that.” “That’ll be extra.” Overall it was extremely disappointing to have someone who’s supposed to be your first point of customer contact bring that kind of energy to a place we were really excited to try but will probably never go back to.
