Bidra med feedbackThe food and service were excellent, and the restaurant was spotless. They have the best happy hour in downtown. We dined at various places downtown, but this one was our favorite. The combination of Chinese food and sushi was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
Update June 2009: Following Bestsushi's recommendation, I recently visited Monsoon again. Sadly, the food has become consistently mediocre rather than occasionally decent. The rainbow roll was underwhelming compared to my previous visits, featuring bland fish and still drowning in too much vinegar. The soup was mostly tasteless. I would suggest skipping it.
As a graduate of NAU in Flagstaff, I always make it a point to visit this city whenever I travel across the country. While I never considered Flagstaff a sushi destination, I was delighted to discover Monsoons in the heart of downtown. On this occasion, I was looking for something more upscale than fast food and opted for a light lunch of spring rolls and sushi. I was thrilled with the Joy Roll, especially since it came topped with fresh jalapeños. To my pleasant surprise, the roll also included real crab meat, which was a delightful touch. The atmosphere was fantastic—I sat outside where it was cool and comfortable, enjoying the lively activity on the streets.
