This restaurant feels very homely to walk into, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the vegan chicken satay and the tikka masala curry, and the food was amazing Quality ingredients and abundant flavours. We sat down at about 7pm on a Friday night. It was our first time here but the great reviews and pan Asian menu had us curious. We waited about 10 minutes before we could order. They ran out of mango lassi so we went for the Namaste. Got our drink in about 10 minutes from ordering. Then waited another 15 minutes from our drink arriving before our food came. It looked like they might have been understaffed. We got the Namaste which was an odd drink. Didn't love it, but didn't hate it either. Would call it interesting. The tofu fritters was ok. It came with tomato sauce which we thought was a bit of a let down. Some more exciting sauce would've been better. We then had the pad Thai and sizzling noodle. I have to say, it didn't taste like pad Thai at all, more like Chinese stir fried noodles with soy sauce, which was fine if we ordered Chinese stir fry noodles. But my taste buds were expecting the tanginess, sweetness, saltiness and pungency of a pad Thai so that was a let down. The sizzling noodle was tasty, it had a satay like peanut sauce and came out sizzling, as promised. Would come back to try other dishes, but wouldn't order the pad Thai again. Fantastic restaurant I’m not vegan hadn’t been here before, am happy we went. The Peanut Roti Roll entree was amazing. Don’t share the plate, get one for yourself!! And the choc brownie with choc hazelnut icecream was the perfect end to the night. This 100% Plant based restaurant is well worth the visit, especially if you have a mix of vegan non vegan people. Everyone will find something great on the diverse menu.
