Bidra med feedbackIrish bar located on the portside offering selection of beers and alcoholic drinks, and the Guinness is definitely drinkable (expect to pay €6 EUR for a pint). Couple of large screen tv's indoors showing live sports music videos. Plenty of seats outdoors with views of the port. Restaurant serves range of pub-grub, but would suggest going for the fried calamari which is fresh from the sea.
Staff was friendly enough and maybe we just came on a bad night but the entire place was mostly reserved for what appeared to be regular customers. We sat down at a table that wasn't marked as reserved but were instead sat in a corner by the door. We ordered the fish and chips, which weren't very good and they didn't serve them with any tartar sauce or vinegar. Guiness was good and cold though.
Good for a beer but more than half the plate of pasta arrived not even al dente but still raw.. . Waitress said sorry but no offer of a discount as should be expected under the circumstances. Will stick to just a drink if I go back
I 've been in Italy for 15 days. I will say this is by far the best I 've had! This bar has topped some of the ' 'upscale ' restaurants that I 've been to here in Rome as well as in Sicily. I got the fried saidsea platter and I 'm extremely impressed. As a foodie from Philadelphia, I give my stamp of approval. This place is only 10 mins away from the FCO airport. If you have some time to kill, then I would highly suggest you pay this place a visit!
Friendly, attentive service, a nice selection of beers from tap and tasty pub food with an Italian twist plus prime location in Fiumicino you cannot ask for more.
