Bidra med feedbackI return with friends to this restaurant that I knew by another name. Today it is called Vergari's Restaurant, in English. The restaurant has been restored and appears much more elegant than that of the previous restaurateur. The outdoor veranda has been redone so as to welcome, once closed with PVC curtains and probably with some heating system, customers also in winter, since the inside was restricted to accommodate the toilets, found clean, which were on the other side. The place seemed generally clean and functional. The staff is courteous and friendly and the waiter in particular, very talkative and good at letting the customer choose his suggestions (good) instead of drawing on the menu, clear result and with the price list. Fish appetizers, very tasty and flavorful and very well presented dishes, the fried have appeared dry of oil and tasty. We opted for a pair of first courses, to choose delicious tortelli with ricotta and cod, served with scampi cream. The second dish, a large tray of prawns, grilled shrimp with calamari and fried squid. Really all very good. Unfortunately, there was some lack, such as the absence of cutlery to take food in the fish tray, wine in bottles brought already open at the table, lack of an offer of side dishes for frying and portions, in my opinion, slightly scarce.The final price, I thought slightly higher than the offer, but all in all acceptable. I think it's a restaurant to recommend to others to understand if my impressions are more or less shared by other commentators
Found this place by happy accident. Had pasta bolognese, which was wonderfully prepared by chef Mimmo. Excellent service from Danilo. On our list next time we're in town. Dave Tammy pears
