We visited 'Blu ' after an appalling attitude at a nearby restaurant. Well, the welcome we received was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We were given a choice of table and we were quite specific with the rose wine we wanted to drink and the lovely server brought several for us to try. We decided on a very nice wine indeed. The setting is glorious and on a par with the top beach restaurants in St. Tropez, in fact it reminded us very much of 'Cap 21 ' and 'Club 55 ' on Ramatuelle beach. We ordered two dishes of the day to share, breaded anchovies and baby octopus fritti. My wife loved both of them and she is not an octopus fan. For a main course we ordered linguine with a white fish, lemon and butter sauce to share. The presentation was excellent and the taste beautiful, in fact my wife said it was the best meal she ate in Italy. This came with soft bread served in a paper bag. The final bill was extremely reasonable for a bottle of wine and such lovely food and the bonus was the exceptional service and setting. If in Fregene again, this would be our number one spot to revisit!

Best beach club we found in Fregene, no entry fee and reasonable prices to rent loungers, two great restaurants, one beach bar cafe and a lovely seafood restaurant. Staff lovely, we ate there several times during our stay. Great vibe and pretty, stylish place
