Looking for a good restaurant we come past the curly house of fishing with its beautiful terrace. the shaded beer garden is located directly on the grundbach, which flows quietly around almost the entire Kurhaus-Gelände and here forms a small pond with a plundering fontine. the name of the curhouse comes from the mention of the ortes fishing in the year 906, when it was still called fiskina. the building was completed in 1984 and today houses the spa department, the guest office with reading rooms, a stub for child care, the curb with stage, gallery and generous foyer, the café restaurant grundbachstuben and also in the basement also conical railways. the gastronomic heart of fiskina beats in the grundbachstuben with approx. 100 seats, which may also be divided into 2 seats. regional specialties are offered here. cultivated beer and softdrinks from the Hirsch-Brauerei sonthofen as well as weine selected manufacturers. for our little appetit we prefer the shaded beer garden under lush trees and we are accompanied by the friendly top to a beautiful table at the bottom of the grundbach. my sohn preferred the offered appetizer allgäu bruschetta, his wife a Bavarian sausage salad from leberkäse, my wife ordered a haferl coffee with a delicious strawberry cream slice and I prefer a tagliatelle with weeping and advise bachsaibling (very delicious prepared). as a conclusion there was still a fragrant espresso and then we drove our walk through the beautiful local fishing.
When looking for a good restaurant we come past the KURHAUS by fishing with its beautiful terrace. The shaded beer garden is located directly on the Grundbach, which quietly flows around almost the entire Kurhaus gardens and here forms a small pond with a plundering fountain. The name of the Kurhaus comes from the mention of the place Fischen in 906, when he was still called FISKINA. The building was completed in 1984 and is now home to the cure department, the guest office with reading room, a nursery for child care, the spa hall with stage, gallery and generous foyer, the cafe restaurant Grundbachstuben and also bowling alleys in the underfloor. The gastronomic heart of Fiskina beats in the Grundbachstuben with approx. 100 seats, which can also be divided into 2 seats if required. Regional specialties are offered here. We offer well-maintained beers and soft drinks from the Hirsch-Brauerei Sonthofen, as well as wines from selected producers. For our little appetite we prefer the shaded beer garden under lush trees and we are accompanied by the friendly top to a nice table on the banks of the Grundbach. My son prefers the offered appetizer Allgäu Bruschetta , his wife a Bavarian sausage salad from liver cheese, my wife ordered a oatl coffee with a delicious strawberry cream cut and I preferred a tagliatelle with wine sauce and brook sabling (especially tasty). Of course the good Hirschbräu beer sounded for this. At the end there was another fragrant espresso and then we continued our stroll through the beautiful place fishing.
Those who want to eat in fish (near Sonthofen, the southernmost city of Germany) do not come around the Fiskina. Surrounded by the spa garden, the terrace landscape is beautifully stepped on the slope. The guest room is brightly furnished with beech furniture. The service personnel are so self-evidently wearing costumes, dirndl and hafel shoes that you can only marvel. Please try: the fluffy Kaiserschmarrn tastes not only children and sweets. Very luxuriant and tasty are also the white sausages, which are formally served in a cucumber pot, along with a small sauce full of sweet must. Very fresh and pearly we were also served the juice choirs, only the Pepsi light tasted a bit scary, although it definitely came out of the bottle. I still consider the very well maintained toilet facilities in the basement (people with handicap can of course use the elevator). As the Fiskina is located in the entire complex of the Kurhaus, there is a very spacious ambience. We were there on the very hot last weekend with a hiking group and felt great. Every one of us likes to come back on the next occasion.
