Five stars for an enchanting stay in the wonderful farmhouse Alter Wirt. Location: Perfect starting position for day hiking tours in the Tegernsee/Schliersee region. Although the agriturismo is located on a passageway of the village of Hundham, the road is not very busy at night, so that there is nothing in the way of a very relaxing sleep. The beer garden or terrace invites you to enjoy a glass of beer or wine with pre-alpine panoramic views. Stay: We have been warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable at any time. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and give the guests a warm welcome. Breakfast is outstanding and offers a very large selection. Whether sweet or hearty, there's something delicious for everyone. Every day there is a small highlight and the homemade jams are a dream (can also be bought locally). This makes it possible to start a busy day of hiking. Rooms: furnished with attention to detail and really very clean rooms. There is everything that the heart desires from one-way shaver to nutrient utensils, it is thought of all throughout. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a mix of tradition and modernity. Restaurant: If you are looking for a pigshaxe for 9,80 EUR, as in a 0815 host house, you will not find it here. If you place value on quality, regionality seasonality, you are interested in newly-interpreted classics and in unusual creations of the Bavarian Austrian cuisine, you are well-received here. The craftsmanship and the sophistication of the cook is to taste in every dish. Quality of course has its price, but the price of performance is reasonable. The service was always very courteous and extremely attentive. Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Landgasthof Alter Wirt and look forward to the next time. Great hotel and restaurant in a beautiful environment! Stylishly furnished rooms and very friendly owners. The rooms were modern clean. The food was excellent.

We, a group of cyclists, were on the road for 6 days. Our first night was in the Old Wirt. And he should be the best on our tour. We were welcomed nicely, got very nice and modern rooms. But the best thing was dinner. Very high level. And with 9 people and different food, we can already make a verdict. All freshly prepared. It takes a few minutes longer. Waiting for it is all-important. Price performance fit perfectly. And the breakfast was the Mega Hammer. A top-class hotel!
