This is where I grew addicted to oysters and all the other delicious seafood dishes. Most welcoming host with a smule on his face. Fresh and authentic we Will be back for sure.

This is the place where locals take a lunch break and have some fish seafood ousters or wine. Totally authentic italian and very friendly service, food is fresh prepared behind the counter and much better than at the restaurants upper floor. The cook made suggestions for a wine to the seafood and we were convinced about the taste. We were not treated like tourists and had a good time there. When in rome do as the romans do!! When in firenze, eat seafood where the locals eat at the market!!! Not easy to find away from the main stream at the market, but worth looking for it and waiting for a free seat or place at the counter. Don't expect nice and shiny tables and fine glasses and silverware, expect the best authentic seafood and you will be pleased ans satisfied. We'll be there again at our next visit of florence. And again thanks to the cook and maybe owner (in person? for the service and food, we enjoyed very much.

I have tried calamari throughout Europe and I can honestly say that the calamari fritti I had at this site were the best ever. not sure why, perhaps the oil, the fresh, the art and wise in which they are cooked, but I loved them so much I had to have two portions. highly recommended.

Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo fritto misto di calamari e gamberetti e un ladro con gamberetti e baccalà fresco con sapore di limone. Tutto condito da una casa di maionese fatta all'anato.
