Formaggioteca Terroir - Firenze

We had a great plate of cheeses for lunch. I loved the selection process, where you identify how many cheeses, Italian/French/both, and kind of milk. We ended up with a mix of cheeses that we were familiar with and some that were very new to us. But all were delish! AND they have a great selection of wine from small interesting producers.

5+ Stars! I cannot begin to say how much I love this place! Located on the other side of the Arno, away from the crowd, but still within easy walking distance. Rebecca and her team have created the PERFECT place to stop for a light lunch or aperitivo before dinner! A fabulous selections of wine and cheeses from Italy and France, and the olive oil they use on their crusty delicious bread is TOP quality! Both indoor and outdoor seating are available and this is a GREAT casual atmosphere to relax and enjoy some of the best wine and cheese here in Florence.

Calm and relaxing place to sit and enjoy a glass of quality wine and try different cheeses. The lady is very friendly. I highly recommend a visit.

Excellent place have a glass of wine or two with a flavorful cheese platter. And don't hesitate to buy some cheese, jellies and wine to take home. You will also get amazing advice to find the perfect products to your liking

Fantastic cheese bar (with wine and small bites) in the heart of Florence. The selection is superb with endless pairing combinations between the extensive cheese selection (just ask about the options--or leave it up to the team to choose for you) and the wines by the glass or bottle. Delicious small bites as well....assuming you still have room after the fantastic cheeses which come with their own accompaniments including bread, fruit, and jam. It doesn't get any better than sitting outside on a gorgeous Florentine fall day with a glass of Sangiovese and triple cream cheese!
