Love this place. it is my favorite place in flourorence. great eating (they brought me back to my long lost favourite cheese, latour! big wee, impeccable of the palazzo pitti, and wonderful people. gabriela (who is from miami! is really sweet accommodation, and manuel is so good knowledgeable about wein so. I wish I could take it with me:-p

Might be the best Enoteca in Italy ! Perfect for the experienced or new wine drinker. Incredible cellar and pricing on older Chianti. Beautiful spot as well right across from the Pitti Palace. We visit every time we’re in town.

We stopped here for a drink on the way to dinner (not knowing that it was the sister to our restaurant for the night the Osteria dell'Enoteca. We had a lovely time, the chap who served us was both knowledgeable and personable and, in the end, talked us through a couple of wines from an extensive list. The setting, in the square in front of the Palazzo Pitti is wonderful. The food looked lovely, but we had somewhere else to be. We'd go back in a flash, if we had the chance.

Anticipating returning to this off the beaten track jewel in Florence’s Culinary Crown is a given for us … frankly I wasn’t prepared for the depth of the newly refined approach in the kitchen to subtlety respect for their local seasonal produce .. for me the breathtakingly clever Spring pea soup with its two temperatures in the one bowl !!! tasting so fresh delicious nearly floored me. But when my absolutely divine Guinea Fowl arrived perfectly rare roasted on its bed of spinach …this time my breath was taken away! My husband’s rare of course! Tuscan sirloin he pronounced perfect. As he’d anticipated. It always is! And all this excellence came coupled with an unusually fine extremely refined Chianti they have a dazzling cellar from which to personally select. Now I would say such satisfying balances of food wine are rare, so the chef the support staff in both the kitchen front of house deserve the highest commendations one could bestow, accordingly. This is a Tuscan culinary adventure of the highest order ..delivered with friendly professionalism at a most reasonable price overall. No wonder you must plan ahead make your reservation well in advance of your next visit to Florence..because the word IS out … here is one of the best restaurants in Tuscany.
