C'est La Vie - Firenze

The food was very delicious and the waiter was so sympathetic and friendly! We were so happy with all : I only can recommend it

Stopped on the way out of town to our parking. Food was best we had all week in Italy. Clean and fresh, and reasonable price.

We arrived at the restaurant on the recommendation of those from the hotel where we are staying (Dimora Bandinelli . We were greeted by a Host with earphones : , but the service is ok. It was seen that they make differences between the tourist and the local customers. The locals received a glass of sparkling wine, the olive oil was different from ours, as was the balsamic vinegar. Like never in Italy I received a 5% discount and I was surprised. the house wine is acceptable (very aqueous and not at all corpulent .

Dined here twice during a 6-night stay in Florence. The restaurant is located on the south of the River Arno but is easily found via a City Map or GoogleMaps. Pasta dishes are excellent value and extremely tasty. Service is first class too. Worth the walk from the other side of the river.

We are Australian and have been in Italy on holiday for over two weeks. So far many dining experiences. All have been very good or brilliant! Until tonight.... We were happy to plan dinner close to our AirBnB at this restaurant for our 7th night in Florence. My husband and I were treated with politeness but no friendliness or warmth. Our food was of a high standard but that is all I can say positively. The moment we ate our last mouthful the dishes were cleared and the bill quickly was thrown on the table, signalling ‘it’s time for you to go’!!! Very rude! No coffee or dessert was offered. My husband tried his best to order in Italian as he always does at the beginning....we felt, as tourists were not welcome here and it was not important to make us feel comfortable at all! Maybe go somewhere else if you are looking for a restaurant that makes you feel like they want to make your experience a positively memorable one. Actually there’s a much nicer one across the road called ‘La Scarpetta’ an amazingly warm and friendly restaurant with excellent food and cheaper.
