Bidra med feedbackAn aperitif with a possibility of trying on a kimono brought to this restaurant/wine bar for the first time. The staff welcome was flat and uninviting despite the fact there appeared to be no other clients. €15 for the aperitif was totally overrated for the place, too plastic and squashed for my taste. Food supposed to be an Italian Japanese mix had very little Japanese and very scanty and poor quality on the Italian side. The possibility of trying on a kimono did exist but in the limited space difficult to organize. I found the staff very off hand, the decor mediocre to trashy, and the aperitif totally overpriced considering the high quality of aperitifs offered in other Florentine bars. If the event advertised was to attract new clients it didn't work with us.
Food was terrible. Had to pay cover charge of 2 euro per person. Was 20% of the total bill. Will not eat here again
We chose this restaurant for a dinner before a show at the nearby theater. It was not important for us that it was Japanese, but we were pleased to find that it was, in order to remember our vacation there a few years ago. In fact the Japanese menu is limited; the Italian side of the menu is much more extensive. But evidently the Japanese dishes are appreciable, because (contrary to what another reviewer wrote we saw a majority of Eastern customers (perhaps because it was dinner and not lunch? . On the menu there 's no sushi or sashimi; but I had read good reviews on the udon and I ordered them. I was not disappointed: they were delicious. Even the tempura was delicious (we ordered one for each . Finally, a green tea tiramisu, also fabulous. Service very courteous: at our exit the cook came expressly to greet us. Bill a bit high: about 60 € in two. Anyway, a positive experience
I liked the idea of creating Italian Japanese dishes, engaging in the Tuscan tradition. Interesting!
Pleasant surprise, good menu atmosphere extraction, years Tuscan trattoria instead makes Japanese food
